Final Pictures

 

I just wanted to show people having a day out on lily pads. I thought it would be a cute concept. I'm kind of worried that they don't look like they all belong though. 

I thought a person using powers to do chores would be cool, but in practice, I'm not sure I did too well. I tried really hard though. 

This was the first picture I did for this assignment and I feel like it's a little off. The coloring of the baby looks strange to me. I don't know. 

In these images, I felt like I knew what I was doing the entire time, and then I would look at the finished images and not like what I saw. I don't know what happened really. Maybe my confidence is just low for these.

I wanted to recreate a famous image and the Beatles cover came to mind. Shaggy, Saul Goodman, Link, and Obama are featured.  I wanted to do something with snow so I made various characters ice skate. This one is not my favorite, but I still put in effort making it.  This image would definitely be my favorite. I chose to recreate my favorite painting with a celebrity I like. To add more to the picture, I decided to add someone taking her picture in the foreground.  This is the first image I made, and at the time I thought it looked great. Now looking at it, not so much.  This is also another favorite. I wanted to try another style and liked what I tried. I did have some trouble making this one though.  Overall, I loved this assignment. I did stuff like this before this class without knowing the proper knowledge just because I was genuinely interested in it. Now I know how to do what I want, but better.

Cloned images

  This image is the first one I completed. It features my sister Annie. I wish I had showed her face in more than one clone.  This is the cloning of me. I thought this would be a cool way to show them interacting. Having to run and pose before the timer went off was a bit tricky LOL.  This last image shows Annie playing UNO with herself. No one else was willing to pose for my pictures, so... thanks Annie.

Get to Know Me

 My name is Aly Jones. I was born in Jackson, TN but later moved to Huntingdon to attend West Carroll Elementary. I later moved to where I am now in McLemoresville and stay on campus to attend Bethel. My family consists of my mom Sarah, my step-dad Philip, my two older brothers Alex and Andrew, and my older sister Annie. They are super important to me and come before anything else in my life.  This is me and my mom when I was little.  Besides the obvious interest in art, some of my hobbies include playing video games, reading, writing creative stories, and watching TV and movies. I'm really into story-driven and open-world video games like Undertale, the Uncharted series, and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. As for movies and TV, I like a wide variety that includes "Blades of Glory" , "Pride and Prejudice", "The Hunger Games" series, and my childhood favorite is "Beauty and the Beast."  I do a little bit of everything when it comes to art...
