Final Pictures

  I just wanted to show people having a day out on lily pads. I thought it would be a cute concept. I'm kind of worried that they don't look like they all belong though.  I thought a person using powers to do chores would be cool, but in practice, I'm not sure I did too well. I tried really hard though.  This was the first picture I did for this assignment and I feel like it's a little off. The coloring of the baby looks strange to me. I don't know.  In these images, I felt like I knew what I was doing the entire time, and then I would look at the finished images and not like what I saw. I don't know what happened really. Maybe my confidence is just low for these.

Images that Inspire Me

  The first image that inspires me is the painting the Girl with a Pearl Earring. Looking at this painting makes me want to have art as good as this one day. I have loved the elusive and mysterious vibe of this piece for years. The simplistic subject makes you wonder what the backstory is.  I chose to show a library because I love reading. This image in particular gives a safe and cozy feeling, similar to the feeling when I get when reading. I also really like the aesthetic of this picture.  This image reminds me of my childhood, where whenever me and my family got bored, we would just pull out a board game. Growing up without much internet and in the middle of nowhere, board games and video games were all us kids wanted to do. I have fond memories of those games with my family.  This scene from Beauty and the Beast in general inspires me in so many ways.
